1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Iron Range Armory LLC ("Iron Range Armory," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website at www.ironrangearmory.com (the "Website"), contacting us for services, or engaging us for gunsmithing work, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Website or services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Iron Range Armory LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company.
2. Services Description
Iron Range Armory provides professional gunsmithing and armorer services, including but not limited to:

Professional firearm inspections and diagnostics

Repairs and maintenance services

Performance tuning and optimization

Mail-in gunsmithing services

Consultation and technical support
All services are performed in compliance with federal, state, and local firearms laws and regulations.
3. Eligibility and Legal Requirements
3.1 Age and Legal Capacity
You must be at least 21 years of age to use our services. By engaging our services, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3.2 Firearms Ownership Eligibility
You represent and warrant that:

You are legally permitted to own, possess, and transfer firearms under federal, state, and local law

You are not prohibited from possessing firearms under 18 U.S.C. § 922(g) or any other applicable law

All firearms you submit to us are legally owned by you or you have proper authorization from the legal owner

You will comply with all applicable firearms laws when transporting, shipping, or transferring firearms
3.3 Compliance with Laws
You agree to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including but not limited to:

The Gun Control Act of 1968

National Firearms Act (NFA)

Minnesota firearms statutes (Chapter 624)

ATF regulations
-
All shipping and transportation regulations
Iron Range Armory reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who cannot demonstrate legal eligibility to own firearms.
4. Use of Website
4.1 Permitted Use
You may use our Website for lawful purposes only, including:

Scheduling appointments

Accessing educational content

Contacting us with inquiries
4.2 Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:

5. Service Quotes and Pricing
5.1 Quotes
All service quotes provided by Iron Range Armory are estimates based on the information provided and initial assessment. Final pricing may vary based on:

Changes to project scope
5.2 Quote Validity
Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated.
5.3 Price Changes
Iron Range Armory reserves the right to adjust pricing due to:

Changes in parts costs

Unforeseen complications discovered during work
-
Customer-requested modifications to the scope of work
We will notify you of any significant price changes before proceeding with work.
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:

Cash

Check (with valid identification)

Credit/Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express)
6.2 Payment Schedule
Inspections and Repairs: Payment due in full upon completion before firearm release.
Custom Builds: 50% deposit required to begin work; balance due upon completion before release.
Mail-In Services: Payment due before return shipping.
6.3 Late Payment
Firearms will not be released until payment is received in full. Iron Range Armory reserves the right to charge storage fees of $10 per day for firearms not picked up within 30 days of completion notification.
6.4 Refunds
Deposits for custom builds are non-refundable once work has commenced and parts have been ordered. Refunds for services not yet started will be issued less a 15% administrative fee.
7. Service Process and Timeline
7.1 Estimates and Timelines
Service timelines provided are estimates and not guarantees. Actual completion times may vary based on:

7.2 Customer Approval
For repairs or additional work discovered during inspection, we will:

Contact you with findings and recommendations

Provide cost estimates for recommended work

Obtain your approval before proceeding
Work will not proceed beyond initial inspection without customer approval of additional charges.
7.3 Delays
Iron Range Armory is not liable for delays caused by:

Parts shortages or backorders
-
Shipping delays
-
Acts of God, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control

Government regulations or actions
8. Firearm Custody and Care
8.1 Accepting Custody
By leaving your firearm with Iron Range Armory, you grant us temporary custody for the sole purpose of performing requested services.
8.2 Care and Storage
We will:

Store firearms securely in compliance with federal and Minnesota law (Minn. Stat. § 624.7132)
-
Maintain reasonable care to prevent damage or loss
-
Keep accurate records per ATF regulations (27 CFR Part 478)
8.3 Insurance
While we take all reasonable precautions, customers are encouraged to maintain their own insurance on firearms left in our custody. Iron Range Armory maintains business liability insurance but is not responsible for firearms lost or damaged due to circumstances beyond our control (theft, fire, natural disaster, etc.).
8.4 Unclaimed Firearms
Firearms not claimed within 90 days of completion notification may be considered abandoned property. After providing written notice, unclaimed firearms may be disposed of in accordance with Minnesota law (Minn. Stat. § 609.5316).
9. Warranties and Disclaimers
9.1 Workmanship Warranty
Iron Range Armory warrants that all gunsmithing work will be performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion.
This warranty covers:

Defects in our workmanship or assembly

Failure of properly installed components due to our installation error
-
Issues arising from improper torque specifications or alignment
This warranty does NOT cover:
-
Normal wear and tear from use
-
Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or abuse
-
Parts failures (parts are covered by manufacturer warranties)
-
Work performed by others after our service
-
Modifications made by others
-
Damage from ammunition-related issues (overpressure, incorrect caliber, etc.)
9.2 Parts and Components
Parts and components supplied by Iron Range Armory are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We do not extend or modify manufacturer warranties.
9.3 Customer-Supplied Parts
If you supply parts for installation:

We will inspect parts before installation
-
We reserve the right to refuse installation of substandard or unsafe parts
-
We provide no warranty on customer-supplied parts
-
Workmanship warranty applies to our installation only
9.4 DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN SECTION 9.1, IRON RANGE ARMORY MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
FIREARMS ARE INHERENTLY DANGEROUS. IRON RANGE ARMORY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ANY FIREARM IS SAFE FOR ANY PARTICULAR USE OR THAT IT WILL FUNCTION WITHOUT MALFUNCTION.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 General Limitation
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY MINNESOTA LAW:
IRON RANGE ARMORY'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
10.2 Exclusion of Damages
IRON RANGE ARMORY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
-
Loss of use of firearms
-
Emotional distress or mental anguish
-
Personal injury or property damage arising from firearm use (except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct)
10.3 Safety Responsibility
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT:

You are solely responsible for the safe handling, storage, and use of your firearms

You will inspect your firearm before each use
-
You will follow all manufacturer safety instructions
-
You will use appropriate ammunition for your firearm
-
Iron Range Armory is not responsible for injuries or damages resulting from your use of firearms after our service
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Iron Range Armory LLC, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from or related to:

Your violation of these Terms

Your violation of any law or regulation

Your use or misuse of firearms

Your provision of false or misleading information

Claims by third parties arising from your actions
12. Privacy and Data Collection

12.4 ATF Compliance
As a Type 07 FFL holder, Iron Range Armory is required to maintain records of firearms received and returned in compliance with 27 CFR Part 478. These records are subject to ATF inspection and may be disclosed to law enforcement as required by law.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
13.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
13.2 Jurisdiction and Venue
Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wadena County, Minnesota. You consent to the jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue.
13.3 Informal Dispute Resolution
Before filing any lawsuit, you agree to first contact Iron Range Armory to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Send written notice to:

We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days of receiving your notice.
13.4 Class Action Waiver
YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
14. Modifications to Terms
Iron Range Armory reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:

Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Service Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Iron Range Armory regarding our services and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
17. Waiver
No waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such provision or any other provision. Iron Range Armory's failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
18. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights granted hereunder without Iron Range Armory's prior written consent. Iron Range Armory may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets.
19. Force Majeure
Iron Range Armory shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Acts of God, fire, flood, earthquake, or other natural disasters

War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government actions
-
Strikes, labor disputes, or supply chain disruptions

Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies

Internet or telecommunications failures
